Popular Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has spoken about her relationship with UK-based rapper Skepta, shedding light on the kind of bond they share and why dating him might stir envy among many women.

 

 

During an interview featured on Off Air Show TV’s official YouTube channel on Friday, October 10, 2025, Tiwa revealed that Skepta never approached her romantically. She jokingly added that if she ever got involved with him, it would annoy a lot of ladies.

 

 

Responding to a question about whether Skepta had ever “toasted” her, Tiwa said, “I was surprised when I heard rumors that Skepta liked me because he never told me that.

 

 

I saw a tweet from him about me once, but that was probably because I attended his event. Skepta never toasted me; he’s always been professional. Honestly, I’d offend many girls if I dated him.”
