Winning Doesn’t Mean I Must Reconcile — Imisi Sends Message to Former Housemates
|

According to a report by The Punch on Saturday, October 11, 2025, Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, says she has no interest in mending fences with anyone who had issues with her in the house — especially Faith. According to her, forgiveness doesn’t mean forced friendship.
Imisi described winning as “surreal”, adding that she is still trying to process the reality of her new status. She recalled her mother’s emotional reaction, saying, “You are a child that made me proud.”
Speaking on what secured her victory, she credited her openness, insisting that her vulnerability was not a strategy but her true personality. She said her most cherished moments were making fellow housemates laugh and receiving unexpected compliments from Big Brother.
When asked who she would have supported if she didn’t win, she mentioned Kola, Isabella, and Dede. On her prize money, she plans to invest wisely rather than rush into decisions.
The reality star says Nollywood should prepare for her, listing Funke Akindele and Mo Abudu among the people she hopes to work with. She confirmed that her nickname “Ijoba 606” is now her official identity.
Despite fame, she insists she won’t abandon her Ebute Meta roots. She remains proudly Yoruba and says she would enter the house again without changing her approach.
As for Faith, “I’ve forgiven, but I’m not forcing reconciliation. If it happens naturally, fine — if not, life goes on.”
In an era of performative apologies, Imisi is making one thing clear — she’s not here to please anyone.
