EPL: Wayne Rooney predicts Liverpool vs Man Utd clash

Ex-Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney, has predicted that the team will be happy to get a draw against Liverpool in their Premier League clash on Sunday.

Speaking on his podcast, Rooney claimed the Reds could be under pressure following a string of bad results.

The champions lost three straight fixtures against Crystal Palace, Galatasaray and then Chelsea before the international week.

On their part, Ruben Amorim is looking to finally claim back-to-back wins, after a 2-0 victory over Sunderland the last time out.

“I think the pressure for this game, I think purely because I don’t think United fans will be expecting three points in this game, where in other games they are,” Rooney said.

“I think they’ll go in a say, if we can get a point we’ll be happy with that, where I think for Liverpool, if Liverpool lose four games in a row and they lose to Man United at Anfield, I think the pressure is definitely on Liverpool for this game.”
