If not for my parents I would have loved to get a divorce because I hate restrictions that comes with marriage – Nigerian woman says

A Nigerian woman, Hope Chinenye has said she has been feeling caged in her marriage and would love to get a divorce if not for the distress the decision will cause her parents.   The mother of two stated this in a Facebook post on Sunday.  If not for my parents ( my mum precisely) I would have love to get a divorce bcoz I hate restrictions that comes with marriage….. But all the same who knows maybe 2026 I will walk out again bcoz I hate the fact that I am not free to do so many things I use to do, she wrote.  Note: if you hear tomorrow that I am not married anymore remember it was my decision to be free from bondage and has nothing to do with my current husband.
