19-year-old Housemaid arrested for raiding home of a Delta state Commissioner, carting away foreign currencies and other personal items

The police in Delta state have arrested a 19-year-old girl identified as Rosemary for raiding her boss’s house and carting away personal items including foreign currencies. While parading the suspect, the spokesperson of the command, SP Bright Edafe, said Rosemary from Plateau state had been working with her boss and his wife for over a year. The suspect said last year during the yuletide, the Commissioner had informed his wife to give her some items as she travels to celebrate with her family members,. However, days before she was supposed to travel. the wife got angry with her and refused to give her the items. She said she travelled empty handed.  However, when she returned to work, she had planned to rob them. When the couple travelled, she went into their room and packed so many items including the oreign currency and food items. She got the family driver to help her move the items to the park, claiming her boss had sent her to waybill the items to someone outside the state. The housemaid travelled with the items and broke her sim car so she could not be traced. The police were alerted and an investigation was launched.
