Mum di£s after plunging from 10th-floor with three-year-old twins in her arms

A woman has did after falling from the tenth floor of a tower block with her three-year-old twin boys in her arms. The 48-year-old was k!lled instantly and her children, Iker and Daniel, were rushed to hospital alive but “critically injured” following the horror fall in Madrid on Saturday, Dec. 6. The Spanish mum was said to have bought birthday presents for the youngsters after the family had gathered a day earlier, on Dec. 5, to celebrate the childrens birthday. Spanish broadcaster Telamadrid reported that, moments before jumping, she shouted what she was planning to do.  This allowed neighbours to alert the police, although they were unable to stop her. ‘She must have been in a very bad way,” one local said. One of the twins has been admitted to Madrids 12 de October University Hospital and the other is in a childrens hospital called the Hospital Infantil Nino Jesus. Medics are said to have grave concerns the most seriously injured of the two children may not survive. But the others health is improving, according to reports. Their mum lived alone with the boys after splitting from her husband a few months ago. Locals said she suffered depression and was taking medication. “She barely spoke and wouldnt even say hello when you passed her,” a neighbour told Telamadrid. The apartment block the woman plunged from is in a street called calle Ricardo Ortiz in Ciudad Lineal, a quiet, residential neighbourhood around 30 minutes from Madrid city centre. A spokesman for the city ambulance service said: “We can confirm the de@th of a woman who plunged from the tenth floor of a block of flats in Ricardo Ortiz. “Two children aged three have been taken to different hospitals. “National police are conducting an ongoing investigation.
