Five arrested for vandalism, armed robbery in Anambra

Five male suspects have been arrested in connection with vandalism and theft at an International Company located at Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State. The men were arrested on the evening of 8th December 2025 during a coordinated operation between police operatives attached to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Awkuzu, working with Police personnel from Neni Divisional Headquarters on a follow-up investigation into a case of conspiracy and armed robbery,  The operatives recovered one pump-action gun, 10 live cartridges, and one black motorcycle.  The police gave the suspects names as: Okemili Chikwado, 20 years, Collins Nwakpa, 23 years, Chukwuemeka Igboke, 18 years, Nwali Chinedu, 18 years, and Ekene Nwakwo, 22 years, respectively. According to a statement released by the Police Public Relations officer, Ikenga Tochukwu, a Superintendent of Police (SP), upon arrest and subsequent interrogation, the suspects confessed to their involvement in the crime and named one Arinze as their major receiver of the stolen properties. According to Ikenga, further investigation is ongoing, and efforts are underway to apprehend other fleeing suspects and recover the stolen/vandalised equipmentThe post Five arrested for vandalism, armed robbery in Anambra appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
