As police continue to investigate the apparent homicide of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, sources tell ET their son Nick was allegedly involved in their [email protected] director and his wife were found dead inside their L.A. home by their daughter on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 14. TMZ reports that they suffered wounds consistent with a knife. According to People, their bodies were discovered by their daughter, Romy.In a press conference outside the Brentwood home, LAPD said they are not seeking anyone as a suspect at this stage of the investigation and no arrests have been made.Nick, 32, is the second son of the couple and has previously opened up about his struggles with addiction and homelessness. He first entered rehab at age 15 and went on to have at least 17 more stays by the time he was 19. “I was homeless in Maine. I was homeless in New Jersey. I was homeless in Texas,” he told People in 2016. “I spent weeks on the street.
