A former British councillor has appeared in court accused of drugging and r@ping his ex-wife over a 13-year period, as five other men face related s3x offence charges connected to the same complainant. Philip Young, 49, appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court, where he was accused of committing dozens of serious offences between 2010 and 2023. Prosecutors allege that during that time he repeatedly drugged and r@ped his former wife, Joanne Young, and secretly filmed her, alongside allegations that he possessed indecent images of children and extreme material. Young, who previously served as a Conservative councillor in Swindon and later worked as a chief operating officer at a consultancy firm, spoke only to confirm his personal details during the hearing. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear next at Swindon Crown Court on January 23. The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed that Joanne Young has chosen to waive her automatic legal right to anonymity. The court also heard that five other men have been charged with s3x-related offences allegedly committed against Joanne Young over the same period. They are accused of offences ranging from r@pe to s3xual assault and s3xual touching. All five appeared at the same court and were released on bail, with strict conditions preventing them from contacting her. Detective Superintendent Geoff Smith of Wiltshire Police described the case as a complex and far-reaching investigation, noting that Joanne Young has been supported by specially trained officers throughout. He said her decision to waive anonymity followed extensive discussions with police and support services. Police have appealed to anyone with relevant information to come forward as the investigation continues. The post Former British lawmaker accused of carrying out s3x attacks on wife by inviting men to r@pe her after drugging her appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
