Missing Nigerian doctor found d3ad in US on Christmas Day

The body of a missing Nigerian doctor has been found in a lake in the United States.  Dr. Cletus Iwuagwu, 71, was last seen on November 24, 2025 in Holland, Ohio.  According to the Lucas County Coroners Office, the sheriffs office found the body of Dr. Iwuagwu in Orchard Lake near Stone Oak Country Club on Thursday, December 25, 2025. The coroners office said the Springfield Fire Department retrieved the body from the water. Family members reported Dr. Iwuagwu missing on November 25. Family last saw him around 8 p.m. in his office on November 24.  The mans daughter was receiving updates on her phone about her fathers locations, but authorities didnt find him at any of the places they checked.  The report said he was last seen wearing a white shirt and a blue shirt, according to information provided by his family. The cause and manner of d3ath are still under investigation, but at this time, the coroners office does not suspect foul play. The coroners office said an autopsy will be performed Friday, December 26. A statement from the University of Toledo Medical Center said he is a professor in the College of Medicine and Life Sciences Department of Medicine and a UToledo Health geriatric medicine physician. He is a well-respected physician, and we share the communitys hope for his safe return as law enforcement continues to investigate his missing-person case, a UToledo spokesperson had said after the missing report.   The post Missing Nigerian doctor found d3ad in US on Christmas Day appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
