A Nigerian woman has sparked widespread reactions on social media after sharing a video in which she alleged years of emotional and psychological abuse by her mother, explaining that the experience is what drives her determination to succeed financially. In the video, the woman claimed that her mother once told her she would die in December and said she should be grateful she was not handed over to older men for prostitution when she first saw her peri0d. She further alleged that her mother blamed her for her father leaving the family, repeatedly called her a witch, and openly stated that she wished she had aborted her. She explained that her intense focus on hustling and becoming financially successful is fueled by hatred for her parents and a desire to escape her past and prove that she can survive without the support of her parents.
