![Who made the rule that women must sit inside while men sit by the door? - Lady reacts after clash with passenger in a keke]()
A Nigerian lady has sparked discussion online after sharing an experience she had with a male passenger inside a keke, questioning what she described as an unwritten rule about seating positions in public transport. According to her, she boarded a keke in the evening while heading out and was supposed to sit at the edge. However, a male passenger who had already sat in the middle insisted that she should move inside and sit in the middle, while he sits at the edge. The lady said she questioned the logic behind it, asking why a man could not sit in the middle instead. She expressed frustration over the assumption that women must always adjust or take the less convenient position. Things escalated when the man allegedly told her that if she refused to move inside, he would pay for both seats and leave her behind. Reacting to the incident, she asked who made the rule that women must sit inside while men sit at the edge, adding that such behaviour reflects entitlement and outdated thinking.
