Lady calls out vendors over alleged illegal VAT charges on everyday purchases

A Nigerian lady has raised concerns after alleging that some vendors are now charging customers what they describe as VAT on purchases, a move she believes is illegal and confusing. In a video making the rounds online, the woman questioned why sellers are collecting tax directly from buyers without any clarity or official backing. According to her, a customer who bought an item worth about 3 million was asked to pay an extra 250,000300,000 as VAT.
