Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Brit Eady has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Michael Cunningham, months after confirming their separation. Court documents filed in Georgia on Wednesday show the reality TV star stating that the marriage is beyond repair. According to Daily Mail, Eady, 37, noted that the couple separated on December 1 and that there is no hope of reconciliation. She also requested that no alimony or spousal support be awarded to Cunningham. According to the filing, the estranged couple share no children and jointly own only one major asset their Fulton County home which they have reportedly agreed to sell and split the proceeds. Each party will retain their respective vehicles. Despite the split, Eady said she still harbors love for Cunningham and hopes they can remain friends, even as she moves on. The Bravo star had earlier hinted at the breakup in a now-deleted Instagram post on December 31, where she spoke about ending the year by choosing her happiness and closing a painful chapter. Eady later emphasized that her decision to walk away was not influenced by rumors, but by personal boundaries and self-respect, describing the marriage as a life lesson centered on growth, peace, and self-awareness.
