American R&B singer, Ray J, has reportedly been hospitalized in Las Vegas as he battles a severe case of pneumonia and heart pains. A source close to the singer told TMZ on Wednesday that after experiencing heart pains, the Love & Hip Hop personality was admitted to a hospital last night, where doctors ordered an echocardiogram and X-rays.
According to the outlet, Ray J, whose given name is William Ray Norwood, Jr., has not yet received results. The outlet previously reported in October 2021 that the One Wish hitmaker, 44, had been hospitalized in Miami with the same illness. The musician said he was admitted into the COVID-19 wing of the hospital, assuming his ailment stemmed from the pandemic illness. I thought it was over, he told TMZ, adding that he started praying and knew God is good so I just kept praying. He also explained that after 2 days and several negative COVID tests, he was removed from the COVID wing. He was discharged later that month. Sources told the outlet at the time that the musician thought his busy schedule and constant travel were culprits in the illness, and noted that he realized he needs to take care of his health following the scare.
