Two more Rivers lawmakers back out from impeachment of Fubara

The impeachment move against Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Odu, has suffered another setback after two additional members of the State House of Assembly withdrew their support for the process, calling instead for a peaceful resolution of the political crisis. Barile Nwakoh, representing Khana Constituency I, and Emilia Amadi of Obio/Akpor Constituency II, announced their positions less than 48 hours after two other lawmakers took a similar decision.
