The incident, detailed by CSP Benjamin Hundeyin on X, came after a viral video showed the suspects arrest. According to Punch, Okon was driving a heavily tinted vehicle with no number plates when he first encountered officers, speeding past them recklessly. On his return, he nearly knocked down an officer, and shortly after, hit three officers deliberately. Two have been discharged from the hospital, while one remains under care. His driving also caused damage to other vehicles before he was intercepted. A search of his car uncovered substances suspected to be hard drugs. Hundeyin questioned why Okon chose to start 2026 with such offenses, which include reckless driving and possession of illicit substances.  The post 19-year-old driver arrested after injuring three police officers in Edo State appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
