Nigeria defeats Egypt 4-2 on penalties to secure Bronze at the AFCON 2025

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated Egypt 4-2 on penalties to win the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 third-place playoff. The tightly contested third-place match in Casablanca produced few clear chances as both sides struggled to break each other down across 90 minutes.
