Man nabbed with human parts on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

A man has been caught with human parts while travelling along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Operatives of the Federal Highway Patrol on the LagosIbadan Expressway in Oyo State recovered a red cloth containing bones and other items suspected to be parts of a human corpse, concealed among passengers luggage. The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, disclosed this in a statement issued in Ibadan, on Sunday, Jan. 18. According to the statement, the driver of the vehicle, Kazeem Ayegbo, who was travelling from Lagos to Osogbo, was apprehended during a routine stop-and-search operation along the route. Osifeso said the suspect would be charged in court upon the conclusion of investigations. The statement partly read, Operatives of the Federal Highway Patrol intercepted a commercial vehicle during a routine stop-and-search operation along the LagosIbadan Expressway near Guru Maharaji Village. A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of a red cloth containing bones and other items suspected to be parts of a human corpse, concealed among the luggage. The driver, Kazeem Ayegbo (male), travelling from Lagos to Osogbo, was apprehended.
