
The spokesperson of the Niger State Police Command, Wasiu Abiodun, has confirmed the d3ath of a 53-year-old lecturer, Abdulfatai Aiyede, in a young woman’s house in Minna. LIB reported that Aiyede d!ed after he travelled to Minna from Bida to visit the young woman identified as Stella Joseph,25, a nursing student. In a statement on Friday, January 30, the PPRO disclosed that Stella served her a meal to Aiyede after which he allegedly convulsed and suddenly collapsed. He was immediately rushed to the General Hospital in Minna for medical attention, where he was later confirmed d3ad. The Niger State Police Command wishes to confirm that on 27/1/26 at about 10am, report received from Tudun-Wada Div indicated that one Abdulfatai Aiyede of about 53yrs of age came to Minna from Bida, and visited a friend identified as Stella Joseph aged 25yrs at Niteco road Tunga, Minna, the statement read. “During the visit, it was reported that Stella served her guest some food, later allegedly convulsing and collapsing. The victim was later taken to the general hospital where he was confirmed d3ad. Stella was arrested, and the corpse is being examined to ascertain the cause of his d3ath, families have been contacted and the case is under investigation.
