President Tinubu has again stepped in to find a solution to the political disagreement between Rivers state governor, Sim Fubara and his predecessor and current Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike. The Nation reports that the President had a late-night meeting with Wike and Fubara as well as other political stakeholders from the state on Sunday, February 8. While the details of the meeting remain under wraps, The Nation reports that Governor Fubara accompanied Wike to his residence in Guzape, Abuja, after the discussions. The report added that Fubara allegedly begged the minister, vowing never to show him disrespect again, signalling a potential reconciliation between the states powerful political figures.
