TV host Wendy Williams loses dad

Wendy Williams dad Thomas has did aged 94. News anchor Alex Finnie, who is Wendys niece and goddaughter, announced the news on Instagram on Sunday,  Feb. 8, with a sweet montage of pictures and videos. She wrote, Ill be loving you always. It is with an extremely heavy heart that I share after 94 years of extraordinary love, strength, brilliance, and wisdom, my grandfather Thomas D. Williams has passed. I know he is in heaven with Nana, watching over our family and continuing to guide us as he always has. My grandfather was truly a man of great intellect an author, educator and keeper of historical facts. Papa poured into both family and community. I miss him tremendously. Im a little lost for words right now, but I love you endlessly Papa. Give Nana a kiss for me.  Tributes from followers poured in. One commented, Awww Im so sorry to you Alex and your family. Tom was such a sweet and dapper man with a special sparkle in his eyes.
