
San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White was sh0t outside a nightclub following Super Bowl LX. The San Francisco Police Department is investigating the sho0ting. A preliminary investigation revealed a verbal altercation occurred between two groups inside a business. The victim was injured when shots were fired by an unknown suspect, a statement from the SFPD said. The 49ers released the following statement: “Keion White was a victim of a sho0ting and sustained a bullet wound to his ankle this morning in San Francisco. He is currently undergoing surgery at a local hospital. We will provide further updates when appropriate.” In a post on X, San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie wrote: “Any violent incident in our city is unacceptable, and I’m hoping Keion recovers quickly. I’ve spoken with SFPD and 49ers leadership- we are all grateful to our SFPD officers for their quick response. As always, I will continue working with San Francisco law enforcement to ensure our neighborhoods and our residents are safe.” White was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2023 and traded to the 49ers in 2025. White is the second 49ers player to be sh0t in the past 18 months, after wide receiver Ricky Pearsall who was sh0t in the chest during an armed robbery in Union Square.
