400-level Benue varsity student found d3ad in Makurdi community

A student of the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi (JOSTUM), Benue State, Lanem Moses Chianenter, was found d3ad near Utambe residence in Ujam village, a community located close to the varsity.   Chianenter was a 400 level student in the department of Animal Production.   The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, February 10, 2026 has thrown both the university community and residents of the area into shock and mourning.  According to sources within the community, the lifeless body was discovered near the student-populated settlement, prompting immediate distress calls to security operatives.   Police authorities have since commenced investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the d3ath.   Until his death, the deceased was the current serving President of the National Association of Ukum Students (NAUS) JOSTUM Chapter and the Financial Secretary of JOSTUM Students Union.    The post 400-level Benue varsity student found d3ad in Makurdi community appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
