Ray J has sparked concern with his latest performance as what appears to be blood is seen streaming from his eyes. It comes after the American star, 45, said he was not expecting to live for more than a year. In late January, he shared on social media that he was suffering from severe heart failure from heavy binge drinking and drug abuse. He was also hospitalised in Las Vegas for pneumonia and heart pains at the start of the year and said he “almost did” after first being treated for the serious lung infection in 2021. Taking to the stage over the weekend for an intimate Valentines Day concert, the One Wish hitmakers current state caused his fans to be concerned. While in good spirits as he performed in Shreveport, Louisiana, handing out roses to the crowd, he wore sunglasses, with what looked to be blood pouring out underneath. Footage quickly started circulating online, but it remains unclear whether it was, indeed, blood or an unusual choice of stage effect.

Ray J real name William Ray Norwood Jr. also appeared to have medical dressing on the upper left side of his chest when he unzipped his orange jumpsuit to reveal his torso. Again, its unknown what procedure or treatment he may have undergone, although its believed he may have had a heart monitor fitted. Still, he had high energy, jumping off the stage to sing among the pit of fans. In a clip filmed by a friend backstage afterwards, he also smiled at the camera and said he was “fine”, telling his friend not to “laugh at [him] for being sick.” “Thats not fair dont do that,” he said. “Aint nobody sick. Look at me, Im fine.” After the videos were shared on TikTok, fans expressed their worry. “Ive never seen an eye bleed, thats crazy,” one person wrote. “Praying hes ok,” another said. “He might just be putting on a front, and trying to live whatever life he has left to the fullest extent,” another wrote.
