The Mercedes-Benz S-Class now fitted with “NKPUME AZA OKUU” number plate was reportedly sold, following the death of Abacha. On the outside, the V12-powered armored S-Class is decked with flag poles – where the Nigerian and military flags used to be. Inside the armored Mercedes-Benz S600 limousine, the rear features four facing back seats for rear-seat passengers.

It’s been 27 since the passing of General Sani Abacha, a Nigerian military dictator and Statesman, who ruled Nigeria with an iron-fist from 17 November 1993 until his death in 8 June 1998. As Car guys, Autojosh stumbled into a video on Creative Lord TV YouTube channel, where an armored Mercedes-Benz S-Class limousine reportedly used by Abacha during his tenure was one of the highlight of a recent interview.




On the outside, the V12-powered armored S-Class is decked with flag poles for official occasions – where the Nigerian and military flags used to be, while the inside features four rear facing back seats for rear-seat passengers. Specially created for Abacha, the limousine is based on Mercedes-Benz W140, also known as the S-Class, produced from 1991 to 1998.
