
Nick Reiner is expected to appear in a Los Angeles courtroom on Wednesday, January 7,where he will be arraigned on murder charges in connection with the deaths of his parents, renowned Hollywood director Rob Reiner and producer Michele Singer Reiner. The 32-year-old is expected to enter a plea during the court appearance. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder following the fatal stabbing of his parents last month. Reiner was arrested on December 14 and also faces a special allegation of using a knife, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorneys Office. The charges carry a possible sentence of life imprisonment without parole or the death penalty, though prosecutors have not yet decided whether they will seek capital punishment. Reiner previously appeared briefly in court after his arrest, where a judge ordered that he be held without bail. He did not enter a plea at that time.
