After more than four decades of friendship, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are comfortable enough to poke fun at each others flaws. Speaking on Tuesdays episode of the Today show, Affleck, 53, jokingly described Damon, 55, as someone who is not great at cleaning up around the house. Damon immediately pushed back, insisting that reputation belonged to his younger years. Hey! That was when I was younger, he protested.

Affleck wasnt convinced, replying with a laugh, Thats all I have to go by. I mean, we could ask your wife and see if its gotten better. Damon, in turn, revealed his own long-standing gripe about his friend Afflecks habit of being late. We got here this morning and Ben was three minutes early, Damon said. He actually got here before me, and thats the first time in 45 years he hasnt been late.

Affleck quickly dismissed the accusation. Oh my God, thats a complete myth, he said. I work hard. Im doing other stuff. The lighthearted exchange comes shortly after Damon shared another personal anecdote involving his wife, Luciana Barroso. Appearing on The Howard Stern Show, Damon revealed that Barroso once had a crush on Affleck before the couple met. I met her best friend from high school, and it came out that the two of them went to see Good Will Hunting together, Damon recalled. Her best friend thought I was the cute one, and Luciana thought Ben was the cute one. Joking about the revelation, Damon said he later told his wife, You got the wrong one. Barroso has since worked closely with both actors on their film The Rip, with Damon praising her as a great producer and a really good friend.
