The abducted wife and daughter of slain Kaduna Anglican priest, Venerable Edwin Achi, have reportedly regained their freedom after spending more than two months in captivity. LIB reported that the priest, his wife, Sarah Achi, and daughter were abducted October 28, 2025 from their residence in the Nissi community, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.  The abductors demanded a ransom of N600 million and later reduced it to N200.  The abductors threatened to k!ll the victims if their family failed to pay the ransom.  The kidnappers posted photos of the priest and his wife as proof they were alive. The abductors later killed the priest before the ultimatum lapsed.  A family source, Avril, who confirmed the latest development on Friday, January 16, 2026 said the victims are currently receiving medical treatment in an undisclosed hospital. According to him, mother and daughter were released from captivity on Thursday night.  The circumstances surrounding the release of Achis family and whether any ransom was paid remain unclear as of the time of filing this report.   The post Abducted wife and daughter of m8rdered Kaduna Anglican priest regain freedom after over two months in captivity appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
