BREAKING: ADC Suspends Chairman Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The Bauchi State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is currently facing a leadership crisis following the immediate suspension of its state chairman, Hon. Hassan Haruna.

This decision was reached by the party’s Disciplinary Committee after a review of several allegations leveled against the chairman.

The committee’s resolution, which was made public in a statement on Saturday, indicates that Haruna’s removal is tied to a series of internal disputes and actions considered detrimental to the party’s growth in the state.

According to the official press release, the party’s leadership accused Haruna of a significant breach of the ADC’s constitution.

Furthermore, the committee highlighted his involvement in several “anti-party activities” which they claim have undermined the unity of the Bauchi chapter.

Following the announcement, the party issued a stern warning to the embattled chairman, urging him to “stop parading himself in such a position” to avoid further legal or disciplinary consequences.

In a move to ensure that the party’s operations continue without interruption, the state executive council has directed the Deputy Chairman, Mahmood Tabio, to take over the mantle of leadership.

Tabio is expected to serve in an acting capacity until the party organizes a fresh election to fill the vacancy or until the pending issues surrounding Haruna’s suspension are fully resolved.
