The Lagos State Police command has launched an investigation into the conduct of the Divisional Police Officer of Olosan Police Station in Mushin, CSP Ayanwale Ayodeji, following viral allegation of power abuse and intimidation. An X-user, Akin Akinwale, had taken to his handle to accuse the police DPO of unfair treatment. According to Akinwale, it all started when his friends car brushed the vehicle of an individual who turned out to be a friend of the DPO. He mentioned that despite the motorists immediate offer to repair the damage, Akinwale alleged that CSP Ayodeji used his position to threaten the man with imprisonment. Reacting to his claims, the spokesperson of the command, SP Abimbola Adebisi, said the command will look into the allegation.
