Son arrested for stabbing his mother to de@th in cottage home

A man has been charged with murdring his mum after she was found stabbed to dath in a thatched cottage in Hampshire, England. Gilly Livie was found with serious injuries by paramedics at her home in Cheriton, Hampshire, on January 9. The 68-year-old grandmother was pronounced de@d at the scene, while a man at the scene was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was later revealed to be her son Daniel Livie, 39, who has now been charged with her murdr. A neighbour told The Telegraph: “She was a lovely lady, she was a keen runner she had dogs and chicken and things. “She was involved in the community in her own way. They kept themselves to themselves. She was very kind and very happy.” Another neighbour told the Daily Mail: “Gilly has chickens, free range chickens, and I used to get my eggs from her. She was a lovely woman.  “She was very friendly. I knew her just a little bit but it is just devastating. Its so awful. She was very gentle, very kind.” Hampshire Constabulary said: “Gilly was found at an address off the B3046, after we were called at around 10.30am on Friday 9 January. “A man was also located at the address and he was taken to hospital with serious injuries. “On Monday 19 January, he was arrested on suspicion of murdr, and later that day he was taken from hospital and into police custody. “This evening (Tuesday 20 January), Daniel Livie, 39, of Winstreet Close, Alton, has been charged with murdr. “He has also been charged with threats to k!ll, in relation to alleged threats made to a man on Thursday 8 January.” He is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today, Jan. 21.The post Son arrested for stabbing his mother to de@th in cottage home appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
