According to a report by Channels TV, September 9, 2025, it was released that human rights lawyer Inibehe Effiong has strongly criticized attempts to stop Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from resuming her mandate, insisting that such actions undermine democracy and the rule of law.
