Bandits abduct Tinubu/Shettima campaign leader in Zamfara

Bandits have abducted Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, the North-West Youth Leader of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organisation, Zamfara State chapter, in a fresh attack in Gusau, the state capital. It was gathered that no fewer than 30 heavily armed men invaded Gusaus residence and forcefully whisked him away in the presence of his wife. A security analyst, Bakatsine, confirmed the incident on Thursday, January 29, 2026, noting that security agencies had been alerted immediately after the abduction. According to him, the gunmen arrived in large numbers, overpowering any form of resistance before taking the victim to an unknown destination.  The post Bandits abduct Tinubu/Shettima campaign leader in Zamfara appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
