Former Super Eagles striker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni has hailed Ademola Lookmans move to Atltico Madrid, describing the winger as a player worthy of competing at the highest level. Lookman completed a permanent transfer to the Spanish giants on the final day of the winter transfer window, with Atltico Madrid paying 40 million to secure his services from Serie A side Atalanta. Yakubu said the transfer did not come as a surprise, noting that Lookmans consistent performances made a move to a bigger club inevitable. I was convinced he was going to leave Atalanta Bergamo this winter.
