Youth leader behe@ded in Rivers state, corpse dumped inside forest

Gunmen suspected to be cultists have behe@ded the president of the Omoku Youth Federation in Rivers state, Comrade Ifeanyi Azuazu (pictured above), and also k!lled his aide, Chigozie Oluwu, during an attack at a popular drinking joint along Ogolo street,off Palace road in Omoku,Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area(ONELGA) of Rivers State on Thursday evening February 5. The gunmen numbering about seven drove in two vehicles into the bar and upon sighting the Youth President, pointed gun at him while ordering him to get inside their waiting car. The aide who had tried to intervene was shot at close range by the assailants, causing him to d!e instantly.  The incident resulted to pandemonium as passersby and residents  scampered for safety while some business owners hurriedly closed their shops for the day.  The police and men of the ONELGA Security and Planning Advisory Committee (OSPAC) this afternoon February 6, recovered the headless and lifeless body of the Youth President at a forest in Omuku.  The Public Relations Officer of Rivers State Police Command,CSP Grace Iringe Koko confirmed the k!lling of Chigozie Oluwu and the abduction,beheading and recovering of the corpse of Omoku youth President, Ifeanyi Azuazu. She added that the incident is cult related and the Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, has ordered a full scale investigation into the incident with a view to apprehending the perpetrators.  The post Youth leader behe@ded in Rivers state, corpse dumped inside forest appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
