
The police in Lagos state have launched an investigation after four persons including a gospel blogger popularly known as Joes Media TV, were found de@d inside a music studio in the Ajah area of the state last Tuesday, February 3. The deceased persons were reportedly invited to perform at a three-day virtual birthday praise event organised by a woman identified as Olanireti Akinbola. Due to Due to the distance from their respective homes to the studio, the four of them opted to sleep inside the studio and return to their homes after they y complete their recordings. Sadly, they were all found d3ad inside the studio the next day with blood stains in their noses, ears and mouths. It is uncertain what led to their de@ths. However, there are speculations they might have d!ed from possible food poisoning to inhalation of generator fumes. Confirming the incident to newsmen, the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, SP Abimbola Adebisi, said the owner of the studio who is also the husband of the celebrant, Akintayo Akinbola, reported the incident on Wednesday, February 4. The police imagemaker said Akintayo told the police that on that same Tuesday, he bought food for the artstes and took it to them in the studio and afterwards left them there and returned to his house. He stated that the next day, he returned to the studio at about 11pm and was shocked to see that the door was locked. After several attempts at knocking for them to open the door, he raised an alarm and with the help of his neighbors, the door was broken down and the bodies of the four artistes were discovered. The SP Adebisi mentioned that the corpses have been deposited at the Mainland General Hospital mortuary, Yaba, for autopsy and preservation. She added that the police has launched an investigation into the unfortunate incident.
