BREAKING: Nenadi Usman to Resume Office as Labour Party National Chairman

The Interim National Chairman of the Labour Party, Senator Nenadi Usman, is set to officially take over the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, marking a historic milestone as the first female to lead a major Nigerian political party.

The secretariat, located in the Utako District of Abuja, was previously occupied by the Julius Abure-led faction of the party.

However, following a recent decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Usman and her team have now been formally recognised as the party’s leadership.

At the time of reporting, a banner featuring photographs of Usman and the acting National Secretary, Senator Darlington Nwochocha, was being hoisted around the secretariat in preparation for an event signalling the start of a new leadership era.
