A 22-year-old Nigerian student from Plateau State, Isaac Satlat, has been shot de@d in South Africa in what many Nigerians resident in the country believe is a fresh wave of xenophobic attacks. Charles Awuzie posted the sad news on his Facebook page on Thursday, Feb 12. He said Isaac, whose father is a Christian Missionary in South Africa, was earlier reported to have been kidnapped while driving his fathers car in Moshongo Province outside of Pretoria. Awuzie said the body of Isaac who was due to graduate next month with plans to move to Canada to advance his academic pursuit, was discovered two days later riddled with bullets.

Isaac Satlats body was found in Moshongo, Attridgeville, not far from Pretoria. Until his dath, Isaac was a student at SA. He was supposed to graduate in a few weeks and head to Canada for further studies.
