How I made £4 million with dogs during Obasanjo’s tenure – Isaac Fayose

Isaac Fayose, a brother to the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has revealed that he made his first millions in Pounds Sterling during the administration of ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo.

Fayose who has been in the news lately over an altercation with Paschal Okechukwu, the popular Cubana Chief Priest and entertainer said he made a total of £4 million at the time.

According to him, he secured a contract with the then government to eradicate wharf rats in the nation’s ports.

His words, “I made my first million pounds from Obasanjo’s government using dogs, so dogs gave me about four million pounds in Nigeria.

“How? I came, we have a lot of wharf rats at the port. I said, “No, I can eradicate wharf rats.” They said it’s impossible. I said, “Don’t worry. You have about one thousand six hundred cats.

Just give me three hundred, and give me three hundred dogs.” So when the ship, when they enter… I line, line up Rottweiler, Rottweiler, bow and arrow.

“I was able to eradicate wharf rats in our port today, before I handed over the port to all the concessionaires. So I’ve been making money,” Fayose stated.

Speaking further on his source of wealth which has also raised a lot of controversy among Nigerians, especially in the social media space, he said he made some more money from an MTN contract.

In addition to running a farm, Fayose said he was also responsible for maintaining and securing the base stations of the telecommunications company in the past.

His words, “My second million in Nigeria, MTN, I used to take care of all their– any base station you see, the guards you see there, they are Anis guards. So do you want me to start counting?

“I have a farm. When I moved back to Nigeria in 2002, I went to a place called ITA. They have mahogany or more trees. They take 15 years to grow. I was buying a nursery at the time for one thousand five hundred. I bought 2,980 nursery.

“I sell one timber now for four hundred thousand. Times my money and see, and my wealth is inside the bush. So take everything that they give me now. Take it. I will still make it back. Just give me my Bible, my phone, and bana beat, my cigarette,” he added.
