JUST IN: Again, National Assembly reschedules plenary resumption to March 5

The National Assembly has rescheduled plenary resumption earlier fixed for Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

In a notice issued on Monday, Kamoru Ogunlana, Clerk to the National Assembly, said the postponement is to allow committees conclude ongoing budget defence sessions.

He said plenary will now reconvene in both chambers of the National Assembly on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 11:00am.

Ogunlana urged distinguished senators and honourable members to take note of the new date and time.

The leadership of the National Assembly regretted any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling.

Both chambers of the National Assembly have been conducting budget defence sessions in the last two weeks.
