Vigilante shot de@d by fellow operative in Jos

A member of the Hunters Vigilante group was allegedly k!lled by a fellow vigilante during a routine patrol in Plateau State. Jafar Umar’s life was cut short in the early hours of Saturday, February 21, in K-Vom, Jos South Local Government Area. According to security sources, Jafar Umar was allegedly shot de@d by his colleague, identified as Nanchit, following a minor misunderstanding while both men were on patrol duty, Vanguard reports. The family of Jafar Umar are now seeking justice.  Speaking to journalists, Alhaji Umaru Umaru, the father of the deceased, expressed deep sorrow over the incident and demanded accountability. I was called in the early hours of Saturday morning by security operatives that my son was k!lled. Upon arrival, I confirmed that the victim was my son, he said.   He was k!lled by his fellow vigilante, with whom he patrolled. This is very unfortunate because the vigilante who shot him was once a neighbour. The family is devastated and we are seeking justice for my son, Alhaji Umaru emphasised, stressing the need to uphold communal harmony and prevent a recurrence of such tragedies. The post Vigilante shot de@d by fellow operative in Jos appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
