When Yar’Adua Died Nasir El-Rufai Came To My Room And Said “You Killed Yar’Adua” – Pastor Tunde Bakare

 

Pastor Tunde Bakare has stated that the day former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua died was the same day he presented a social contract document in Abuja. Pastor Bakare said his presentation that day was titled Our Dead Heroes, They No Longer Live Here.

In a video shared by Channels Television, Bakare said after the event, news came that Yar’Adua had passed away. He said that Nasir El-Rufai later came to his room and jokingly accused him of causing Yar’Adua’s death because of the message title.

Pastor Bakare said he immediately told El-Rufai that the message had nothing to do with Yar’Adua’s death and it was a word God had given him to preach.

In Pastor Bakare’s words: “When Yar’Adua died, I remember that was the day we presented social contract in Abuja and I spoke on the subject Our Dead Heroes, They No Longer Live Here. Yar’Adua died that day, Nasir El-Rufai came to my room and said, ‘You killed Yar’Adua, You said They No Longer Live’. I said no, that was a word God gave to me”.
