Music producer Don Jazzy has responded to a resurfaced story about an incident he had with UK police many years ago, after his former associate, Bankulli, shared a version of the event at a recent gathering. Bankulli had claimed that Don Jazzy was involved in an accident in London during his early hustle days, removed the cars plate number, and ran off when police arrived because the cost of retrieving the damaged car was higher than fixing it. He said Don Jazzy had fallen asleep while driving home from a show, crashed the vehicle, and decided to abandon it entirely. His story stirred reactions online, including fears from an X user who suggested the case could be reopened if Don Jazzy travelled to the UK now. Responding, Don Jazzy corrected the narrative and urged everyone to relax. According to him, he didnt run from the police. He said he actually waited for them at the scene, took a breathalyser test to confirm he wasnt drunk, and the officers later impounded the car. He explained that the only reason he left the vehicle with authorities was because the fine to retrieve it was higher than the cars worth. His words: Lol no panic.
