President Tinubu swears in Gen. Musa as Defence Minister

President Bola Tinubu, today December 4, swore in former Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, as the new Minister of Defence.   The brief swearing-in ceremony took place at the Presidential Villa. Musa took the oath of office barely 24 hours after the Senate screened and confirmed his nomination.  The President had forwarded Musas name to the Senate earlier in the week following the resignation of Mohammed Badaru, who stepped down as defence minister on health grounds. The post President Tinubu swears in Gen.
