“I cannot feed you, clothe you, and then you now turn around to punish me. What kept you alive?” Saka said while reflecting on Wike’s alleged role in dismantling the party from within. “If I deprive you of food, you’d be roaming the streets like a destitute or starve to death.”

Saka insisted that Wike is both rebuilding and dismembering the PDP simultaneously, playing a double-faced role that has crippled the party’s authority. He questioned the leadership’s refusal to sanction Wike despite his repeated infractions, suggesting that fear and personal loyalties have overridden party discipline. He further narrated an incident involving Senator Sam Anyanwu, where a party secretary ratified in a southeastern state was later chased out from Vadata Plaza, despite being approved by the same leaders. “You ask yourself—why the inconsistency?” he asked, highlighting the leadership’s failure to uphold internal rules.

Saka also condemned the North-South narrative being peddled by some PDP figures, warning that the framing of national issues along regional lines has fueled division and further weakened the party’s unity. “Some of these people left PDP for APC, then returned to PDP, and now they are in SDP or ADC. This kind of political prostitution is part of why the party has lost its soul,” he added.
