American rapper Azealia Banks is trending after unleashing a series of harsh comments about Afrobeats, Nigerian culture and singer Rema during a recent podcast interview. She said:I dont want to listen to someone singing in pidgin; Id rather listen to someone sing in patois. I dont like Afrobeats. Nigerians have no culture, theyre eating salty rice, and who even cooks with palm oil?
