Chelsea will begin their 2025-2026 Premier League campaign with a London derby at Stamford Bridge against Crystal Palace on August 17, as the Blues prepare for a season filled with ambition and continental return.
Currently in the United States for the FIFA Club World Cup, where they began with a 2-0 win over LAFC in Atlanta, Chelsea, coached by Enzo Maresca, will return to the UK eyeing a strong domestic start.
With a return to the UEFA Champions League after a two-year absence, Chelsea are aiming for silverware on multiple fronts and will fancy their chances with a relatively favourable opening fixture run.
After the Palace opener, Chelsea travel to West Ham and then welcome Fulham, both fellow London clubs, meaning the Blues will not leave the capital in their first four matches.
A first major challenge awaits on September 20, when Chelsea faces Manchester United at Old Trafford.
A busy autumn schedule includes clashes with Premier League champions Liverpool on October 4 and fierce derby games against Tottenham and Arsenal in November.
The return leg against Liverpool is scheduled for May 9 and will be Chelsea’s penultimate away match before ending the season at newly promoted Sunderland on May 24.
During the festive period, Chelsea will host Aston Villa the day after Boxing Day and round off 2025 by welcoming Bournemouth to Stamford Bridge on December 30.
