Singer Jourdin Pauline accuses cyberbullies of mocking sister’s death

Singer and influencer Jourdin Pauline has announced she is stepping back from social media, citing relentless cyberbullying and deeply distressing comments about her late sister. Pauline made the disclosure in a since-deleted post, saying the sustained online attacks had taken a toll on her mental health. The decision follows intense backlash after she accused Tylil James, a member of the content creation collective Clover House, of sexual assault. James has categorically denied the allegation and has claimed he possesses evidence that will disprove Paulines account. According to Pauline, supporters of James quickly rallied to his defence and turned their anger toward her online. She wrote that the abuse included lies, threats, and dehumanising comments, adding that the situation had pushed her to withdraw from social platforms to protect her wellbeing. While explaining her decision, Pauline said that although social media is temporary, her work will endure. She wrote that by stepping away, she hopes to focus more on her music, art, and long-term legacy. Pauline also addressed comments directed at her family, particularly her late sister, saying she had seen videos and posts discussing her sisters death. Do not speak on my sister, she wrote. You dont know her and you dont know her story and shes not here to defend herself. She added that she had tried to speak out for as long as she could but felt it was time to disengage. Only God knows what Im feeling, Pauline continued. Im deciding to not feel this pain anymore and finally be with God. I promise my spirit, my music and my art will do the living for me. God bless everyone.
