Comfort, a young Nigerian woman, has opened up about the challenges she faced after getting pregnant at the age of 17 by a man who was 12 years older than her. Speaking during an interview with The Lucky Udu Experience, she shared how her life drastically changed following the birth of her son.

“They made me feel comfortable in the house, but I felt like I had to leave, so I moved in with my boyfriend’s mother.”
Living with her boyfriend’s mother, who was in her 70s, wasn’t easy.
“She was very picky about everything I did,” Comfort explained.
She shared that after giving birth, she briefly stayed with her boyfriend’s stepsister, where she experienced some relief.
“When I gave birth to my son, I went to his stepsister’s house, and the two weeks I spent there made me feel like myself again. I was really being taken care of,” she said.
However, that short period of comfort quickly ended.
“It lasted only two weeks, and then I was back at his mom’s place,” she continued.
“I didn’t just have to care for myself and his mom alone, i had to care for myself, my baby, his mom and even help with her business. I was just so frustrated and tired.”
